Thought provoking stuff in Music Academy and on your blog. I’ve been having thoughts and conversations about what “Christian” music really is and why so much of the lesser quality stuff gets lumped in with all of the better stuff.
Total side comment, and you don’t have to publish this if you would rather not, but on Run to the Cross, it’s a tight melody and a good jam, but your female vocal seems fairly flat through the harmonies. It definitely detracts…also I would suggest dropping her level a bit so that the harmony doesn’t overtake the melody.
Thanks for your comment, glad it’s been interesting! Thanks also for the feedback on the song – we’ve taken it on board and the finished mix is now online, having dropped the BVs a bit and hopefully sorted the tuning issues.

But what do I know, I’m just a drummer.
Good stuff!
